From a very young age, the founder of MBV has had a fascination with all things vintage. Terri’s favorite pastime when traveling throughout the country is to visit old historic homes and antique stores. Her love of vintage things, along with years of planning, decorating and hosting parties and charity events, lent itself to starting a business that would incorporate all her passions. The catalyst to take the plunge to start this new venture was the planning, designing and styling of her daughter’s wedding in 2016.

MBV is most definitely a family affair. As a nod to her southern grandmother and the namesake of the company, MBV wants everyone (in true southern style) to walk through the doors as friends and leave as family. Two of her daughters, Lauren and Karleigh, are the event/wedding planners. As with many small businesses, they each wear many hats. They assist with social media, photographing inventory, setting up the warehouse, and so much more. Working together as a mother/daughter team has been a dream for these three.

Russ (Terri’s son-in-law) is the craftsman extraordinaire. There is nothing this guy can’t build or design. He has created hand-crafted farm tables, pub tables, arbors, cantinas, custom bars and sweetheart tables. Friends and family have come together to help with this boutique rental company and we couldn’t be more thankful for each and every person that has lent a hand.
